Level 2 is for dancers that have learnt the basics in our Beginners Salsa course and is designed to help students build on the fundamentals of the dance. Level 2 has four modules and each module contains different material. A single module is covered over the 5-week duration of the term. All four modules must be completed before you proceed to Level 3. Our focus is to develop good technique, it's not how many moves you know, it's how well you execute the moves you do know.
Level 3 is for dancers that have completed Level 2 or have a solid understanding of the basic fundamentals like the Cross Body Lead (CBL) and the Right Turn (RT). Without these fundamentals, there are no Inline Turns or Spins which is what Level 3 partly focuses on. Some might think that the CBL and the RT are easy and they might be, we just like to be thorough. Always remember, "It's more fun when you're good at it". Level 3 has six modules so there is plenty to learn.
This is where the real fun begins! You've put in the many, many months of hard work through all the levels and modules. You now have a real respect for the music and the dance and you understand why the fundamentals are so important. There are four modules of Shines and Turn Patterns which are challenging in themselves but the real challenge is having the freedom to modify or add to the material, this is the expectation. Our mission is to develop dancers, not clones.

Level 3 is for dancers that have completed Level 2 or have a solid understanding of the basics of the dance and the music. Bachata may be considered an easier dance but there is a lot more feeling to it, this creates a stronger connection with the music and your partner. Without this connection, it's difficult to truly enjoy the beauty of Bachata. Always remember, "It's more fun when you're good at it". Level 3 has six modules so there is plenty to learn.
A work in progress.
